We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the well-being of each child, and promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Provide age-appropriate activities to promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a supportive and cohesive team
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- Experience in nannying or working with children one-on-one is a plus
- Familiarity with educational activities for different age groups (e.g., toddler care, preschool, infant care)
- Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
