Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of each student.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement among all students.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline according to school policies.
- Provide care and supervision during activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and adapt strategies as needed.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills in early childhood education and childhood development.
Requirements
- A background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience working with children, particularly in educational settings or childcare environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices, especially concerning toddlers and young children is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
