Duties
As a Two Year Old Educator, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing young minds and preparing children aged two to five years of age for academic success through our Life Essentials curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the Life Essentials curriculum to create engaging and educational classroom experiences.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational approach.
- Conduct assessments and track student progress to tailor teaching methods accordingly.
- Maintain a clean and replenished classroom.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and milestones.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements
Qualification's:
- Previous experience in a childcare setting, preferably in a daycare or private school environment.
- Proficiency in curriculum development and implementation.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Nice To Haves
- The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or Staff Credential (preferred)
- Completion of 45 Hour DCF Training
