What are the responsibilities and job description for the Toddler Teacher position at Kiddie Care Preschool Lauderhill?
We are looking for a committed and dedicated teacher; who loves working with children and loves to teach.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a weekly lesson plan and implement the age-appropriate curriculum.
- Provide a nurturing loving, caring environment for all children.
- Help children achieve in all areas of developmental milestones.
- Changing diapers and pull-ups (Potty Training)
- Keep a record of daily health checks on each child and attendance.
- Maintain positive communication with parents, students, and staff.
- Assist with circle time and all other activities throughout the day.
- Follow daily classroom schedule.
- Positive team player.
- Great classroom management and organizational skills.
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment.
- Ability to lift 25-45 pounds.
- Interact with children at all times.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Must be flexible in receiving assignments.
- Cleaning classroom daily.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 45 hours of DCF childcare training
- CDA/FCCPC certification or higher Early Childhood Education degree (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid
- Level II background screening (Clearinghouse)
