Kiddies Playgroup Management operates multiple franchised Kiddie Academy Educational Childcare Learning Center locations in Chicagoland. We are passionate leaders in Early Childhood Education.
We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Supervisor who can bring strong management of data-driven accounting philosophy to our brand. The most successful candidate will be a well-rounded person who brings solid business acumen to help define and improve our accounting and finance systems and processes.

Job Location: Our Glendale Heights corporate office. This is an on-site position.
Duties:
The Accounting Supervisor will oversee and supervise the organization’s daily accounting and finance functions.
Some functions include:
· Manage the company’s financial accounts, payrolls, forecast, budget, cash receipts and fixed assets
· Oversight of 11 operational businesses with additional openings in the near future
· Accountable for closing end books, overseeing AP and AR activities
· Handle the company’s transactions and debts and do cash flow forecasting
· Perform the company’s financial audits
· Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives
· Monitor and analyze financial accounting data
· Create financial reports based on data analysis
· Identity, research, resolve and communicate accounting, auditing and operational issues
· Oversee routine daily operations of accounting department
· Review, create and apply department procedures, policies and internal controls.
· Timely and accurate preparations for special projects and research.
· Supervise accounting staff
· Promotes teamwork & cooperation
· Any other duties assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues effectively
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
