Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote childhood development.
- Support children in daily routines, including meals, playtime, and nap time, ensuring a safe and positive environment.
- Communicate effectively with children to encourage their learning and development.
- Observe and document children's progress, providing feedback to lead teachers on individual needs.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere for all children, including those with disabilities, by adapting activities as necessary.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to create engaging learning experiences that align with Montessori principles.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in daycare or educational settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development and childhood development milestones.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- A genuine love for working with toddlers and young children.
- Patience, creativity, and adaptability in addressing the diverse needs of children.

Pay: $21.09 - $24.52 per hour
