Medical Assistant:
DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION REQUIRED-Travel between Little Rock and Sherwood
M-F, 8-5
Duties:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physician Assistant and Physician.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Outgoing referrals for procedures- such as Ultrasounds, Biopsies, etc...
Experience:
- Previous experience in patient service or healthcare setting required - 1 yr required.
- Basic life support certification.
- Experience with electronic medical records.
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and medical records management is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills to address patient needs and concerns
