What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant Front Office / Front Office position at Kidney & Hypertension Specialists?
The candidate we are looking for must have both medical assistant and front office experience. The candidate should have at least 2 years experience working in a medical office with a sound understanding of the day to day tasks. Bilingual Spanish / English is a plus.
These are the general daily responsibilities you will be expected to perform :
- Front office duties - check-in / check-out, collecting co-pays, answering phones and other administrative duties
- Perform duties of a medical assistant - rooming, vitals, urine analysis, medication refills, generating lab orders, communicating with hospitals and dialysis clinics
