Kidney Specialists of Southern Nevada (KSOSN) provides comprehensive kidney care and a full spectrum of kidney disease management resources for residents of Southern Nevada. Our care team educates and empowers patients who are living with kidney pain, infections, stones, and other kidney problems. With this exciting opportunity you will be joining a seasoned team of 50 Physicians and Advanced Practitioners, as well as 70 team members across eight office locations.
We are looking for a dynamic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team at the Ambulatory Surgical Center. Surgical Center hours are Mon to Sat 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
All candidates will be required to pass a background check, drug test and submit a ready to work physical.

Position Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse performs patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Gathers pre-treatment patient data, maintains prescription drug logs and provides assistance to the clinical team during pre and post procedure activities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist in procedure room preparation; maintain sterile techniques; assist with pre and post procedures including assessment of discharge.
- Provide ongoing patient information to the interventionist and clinical team during procedures to deliver vascular access care to the patient including cardiac monitoring, Aldrete score, pain status.
- Assist in recovery room patient care following vascular access procedures.
- Collect patient data prior to procedures including patient assessments and patient history.
- Serves as a surgical technologist during procedures.
- Communicate with dialysis facilities to monitor post-care.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience in dialysis, critical care or medical/surgical required.
- Graduation from an accredited LPN/LVN program required.
- Current Nevada LPN license required.
- Current CPR certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
