IMMEDIATE OPENING: Kids Sports & Fitness Coach (Part-Time)
Location: North Shore Chicago (Rogers Park, Irving Park, Albany Park, Skokie, Lincolnwood, Evanston, Glenview, Morton Grove, Northbrook, Highland Park)
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Join Kidokinetics (www.kidokinetics.com), an exciting sports and fitness program for children ages 2-8 years old. We introduce kids to a variety of sports in a FUN and non-competitive environment, teaching them the fundamentals of different sports while fostering physical development and confidence.
What You’ll Do:
- Coach and guide preschool and elementary-aged children (ages 2-8) through sports and fitness activities.
- Deliver age-appropriate sports lessons that focus on skill-building and physical fitness.
- Create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for sports.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during sessions.
- Plan and organize sports sessions, including warm-ups, drills, and game-based activities.
- Provide individualized attention to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members, offering feedback and updates.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents during sessions.
- Stay updated on coaching techniques, safety protocols, and sports trends.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and improve sports programs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year working with children (ages 3 and above) in a coaching, teaching, or sports-related role.
- Passion: A genuine love for working with kids and helping them grow through sports.
- Energy: High-energy, positive attitude with a desire to make a difference in children's lives.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Reliability: Punctual and responsible, with a commitment to creating a safe and fun environment.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable car for commuting to different schools, daycares, and park districts.
- Must live in or be able to commute to the North Shore neighborhoods of Chicago (Rogers Park, Lincolnwood, Irving Park, Skokie, Evanston, Morton Grove, Glenview, Northbrook, Highland Park).
- Must pass a background check, including criminal record and child abuse clearance.
Bonus Qualifications (Not Required but Preferred):
- Certifications in physical education, sports science, early childhood development, or related fields.
- Prior experience coaching youth sports teams, leading physical education classes, or working at summer camps.
