Kids Sport Coach

Overview:

THIS IS A PART-TIME ROLE - DAYTIME AVAILABILITY REQUIRED.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coach to join our Kidokinetics North Columbus team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with kids and any athletic background or passion for physical fitness. We will train the right candidates for the specific duties of this role. This is a very part-time role to start, with hours gradually building as you complete training and are assigned coaching gigs and other responsibilities. You will begin with about 5-10 hours per week.

This role is perfect for college students, stay-at-home spouses, side-hustlers, freelancers, recent high school graduates (18 ), empty-nesters/retired-parents, or anyone with a flexible daytime schedule. You would be asked to work anywhere between 9 AM and 3 PM, and could run as late as 4:30 PM.

EXTRA CONSIDERATION: Applicants with an existing OCCRRA account with background check approval from OJDFS to work in childcare within the last 5 years.

Duties:

- Plan and lead sports classes/activities for kids (2yrs & up) at local daycares, preschools, elementary schools, and more (reliable vehicle and reliable coach is a must, as we travel to various locations in the Columbus area)

- Be the face of the franchise with your assigned programs, and help promote an A experience for all involved.

- Work together with management to achieve desired program results, increase enrollment, and resolve issues.

- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills with management, school staff, and parents.

- Must be familiar with and have experience using Google programs (docs, sheets, calendar, Gmail, classroom).

-Opportunities may be presented to the right candidate to earn extra hours in addition to the coaching role.

Skills :

- Experience working with children or in childcare settings (daycare staff, coach, teacher, babysitter, nanny, gymnastics, cheerleading, kids camp volunteer, VBS helper, etc.)
- Energetic, fun personality, with patience to work with groups of up to 10 kids
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to learn new skills and build self-confidence
