Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Director to oversee our daycare facility. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Supervise daily operations of the daycare, ensuring compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and support teaching staff in their professional development and classroom management.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Organize activities that encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth in children.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in care through regular safety checks and adherence to health protocols.
- Manage enrollment processes and maintain accurate records for all children in the program.
Experience
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, and childhood development principles.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with parents, staff, and children.
