Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support our educators in fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for our students. This role is essential in assisting with classroom management, implementing educational activities, and providing individualized support to students.
Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students through effective behavior management techniques.
- Facilitate literacy education by helping students develop reading and writing skills.
- Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being during classroom activities.
- Encourage positive interactions among students and promote collaborative learning experiences.
- Assist with classroom organization, including preparing materials and maintaining a clean learning environment.
- Observe and document student progress, providing feedback to teachers regarding individual student needs.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects diverse backgrounds and promotes equity in education.
Requirements
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, particularly in early childhood education.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or other progressive educational philosophies is a plus.
- Strong skills in literacy education and math instruction are highly desirable.
- Ability to manage behavior effectively while creating a supportive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with students, parents, and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $9.82 - $10.30 per hour
