We are seeking an experienced Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team! As the Assistant Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for selecting age-appropriate programs, activities, and curricula for the children in our care. - Adhere to ODJFS Child Care licensing rules
- Develop lesson plans
- Interact with children to support effective learning and socialization
- Consistent Communication with parents
- Participation in staff and training meetings
- Maintain clean and tidy classroom environment
- Assist to design an appropriate classroom arrangement in support of learning and developmental goals
- Commitment to continuing education
- High School Diploma
- At least 2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility
- Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding child care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of caring and nurturing children in a licensed educational environment
