Child Care Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This position requires a strong understanding of childhood development and the ability to engage with children effectively. The Child Care Teacher will be responsible for implementing educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all children.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Facilitate engaging activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and creativity.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
• Maintain effective classroom management to create a positive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other staff members to support children with special needs or disabilities.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities.
• Stay current on best practices in early childhood education, including first aid and emergency procedures.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Preschool education or daycare settings.
• Working with children with disabilities or special education needs.
• Babysitting or nannying roles that demonstrate responsibility for child care.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective classroom management strategies.
• Certification in first aid is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.55 - $15.28 per hour
