Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning styles of students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Provide individualized support to children with special education needs, ensuring they receive appropriate accommodations.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that promotes respect and understanding among all students, including those with disabilities.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in their academic and social development, providing feedback to parents as needed.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in education and childhood development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in daycare, childcare, or working with toddlers is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in classroom management and the ability to create a nurturing environment for all students.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience or training in special education is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A compassionate approach towards caregiving and an understanding of the unique needs of children with disabilities.
