Child Care Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. You will engage with children in various activities that promote their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare settings and a strong understanding of classroom management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children.
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and educational activities.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
• Foster positive relationships with children to encourage their social and emotional growth.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience.

Experience

• Previous experience in daycare or childcare settings is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Experience working with infants, toddlers, or special education needs is a plus.
• A background in nannying or similar roles can be beneficial.
• Ability to create engaging activities that cater to various age groups within the classroom.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
