What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher and Floater position at Kids Connection Learning Center?
Job description
Different hour shifts available for different age group.
We will need full time and part time Assistant Teachers and Floaters.
Signing bonus of $500
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in educating and caring for a group of children in the classroom. The Assistant teacher help implements the lesson plan created by the Lead Teacher. Assist the Lead teacher to ensure that children are safe.
Floater will be assisting and will be assign in the classroom depending on the needs of the program. Floater will be assisting the Teacher in the classroom.
The Assistant teacher and Floater is responsible for following Pa Licensing regulations and requirements, adhere to the STARS quality standards, comply with the company policy. Maintain a positive relationship with families, and maintain professionalism.
The Assistant Teacher must be a LEVEL A on the STARS Career pathway. 2 years minimum of experience working in a STAR 3 or 4 facility. A minimum of CDA or 9 ECE credits.
