What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Kids & Cribs Child Enrichment Center?
We are seeking a Lead Teacher for our Pre-K classroom. The position is full-time. Candidate must be 18 years old, a high school graduate and be able to pass a background check. Prior teaching experience is required. CDA or degree beneficial
Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in a childcare setting
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's progress, including parent teacher conferences.
- Gather observations on children's development, assess milestones, and provide individualized support and guidance as needed
- Incorporate educational games, activities, and materials to promote learning in various learning domains
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting required.
-Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children
Education:
-CDA or Degree in Education preferred.
