We have the job for you! GREENVILLE KIDS DENTAL is offering a full-time opportunity as a Dental Assistant at our GREENVILLE office. We are an upbeat team looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others and wants to make a positive difference in their community.
CERTIFICATIONS: CDA or RDA required, X-ray certification preferred
EXPERIENCE: Must have Dental Assistant certification
JOB TYPE: Full-time
SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY
PAY: Starting at $16.50-$19.00
BONUS PAY: up to $500 additional per month

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory duties
- Take and process dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...
- Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
- Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulse
- Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
