What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Child Care Provider position at Kids Dynamic Learning Center In-Home Childcare?
Responsibilities:
Monday Through Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for six (6) children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
- Monitor and ensure the safety of children at all times
- Assist with basic needs such as feeding, diapering, and toileting
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for children to learn and grow
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management techniques
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and infant care practices
- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers
- Ability to provide educational support and engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
-CPR Certified (Will Provide)
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors in a calm and positive manner
- Organizational skills to plan activities, manage schedules, and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks accordingly
