Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Child Development Associate Degree (CDA) or AA Degree required
Experience:
- Experience in working with pre-school children
- Working with the classroom teacher in planning, supervising and implementing activities for the class in accordance with policies and philosophy of the program.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- To prepare learning center activities as requested by the teacher.
- Handle discipline promptly and in accordance with the stated policy.
- Supervise the students on a given bus route during the pick-up and drop-off times.
- Maintain accurate bus rider attendance, breakfast and lunch count records.
- Supervise the students during breakfast and lunch in the cafeteria.
- Assist teachers with setting up the room using bulletin boards, children’s work, pictures, and other hangings.
- To prepare a daily snack and supplies to be used by the class.
- Supervise and insure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
Salary : $16 - $21
