1-YEAR OLD CHILD CARE TEACHER

KHLC is looking for 2 teachers in the 1 year old class- a qualified Lead Childcare Teacher, along with an assistant - to join our team! Tired of working weekends, nights and holidays! Look no further. The ideal candidates for this position will have experience working in a childcare setting, is creative and fun, shows genuine passion for working with younger children, and has strong communication and organizational skills. The candidates are team players willing to work together to provide a safe and nurturing environment to children daily while in your care. Together, you will provide engaging activities, serve nutritious meals, supervise outdoor play, all which promote learning and development. Prefer, but not necessary, bilingual ability in both English and Spanish. Looking for someone who prefers and enjoys toddlers and has experience with this age group.

Responsibilities:

• Is genuine, caring, fun and creative with the children.
• Supervises and cares for children in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Create a stimulating, encouraging, and age-appropriate environment for the children.
• Plans activities that promote physical, mental, and social development.
• Provides basic care such as feeding and changing diapers.
• Is neat, clean and organized throughout the day.
• Ensures the safety of the children at all times.
• Maintains a well sanitized and organized classroom.
• Interacts with the children in a positive manner.
• Works well with other team members and shares responsibilities.
• Is positive and enhances the work place environment and the positive culture.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
