Position Title: Client Services Associate

Reports To: Client Services Manager

FLSA Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Kids In Need Foundation (KINF) is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating equitable learning environments for underserved students and teachers across the U.S. Our mission is to ensure that every pre-K – 12 student has the essential tools and resources they need to succeed in school. Through our distribution of school supplies, support for teachers, and investment in educational initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students across the country. As we continue to expand our reach and deepen our impact, we are seeking a talented, self-driven Client Services Associate to join our high-performing team.

Position Summary: The Associate is an integral role within a lean, high-performance 3-member team responsible for providing the highest level of account and project management for KINF’s corporate partners. The Associate’s focus is to ensure program deliverables are fully executed upon in a timely and efficient manner, while providing a high-quality donor experience for the partners. The Associate is the primary lead for mid-level accounts, working with the Manager and a Coordinator to ensure the needs and expectations of all portfolio donors and partners are fully met by the client services team.

This is a full-time position based in the Roseville, MN headquarters.

Responsibilities:

· Works closely with the Development team to understand donor intent, interests, needs and goals in partnering with KINF and supporting our mission, whether through agreement-based initiatives or ongoing Gift-in-Kind (GIK) support.

· Provide input, share ideas and help frame program fulfillment and deliverables concepts and best practices, based upon successful partnerships and learnings gained from other relationships.

· Upon the signing of donor agreements, take primary responsibility for ensuring all internal systems, processes and communications are completed to ensure all deliverables detailed in the agreement are fully executed.

· Identify and confirm the appropriate parties internally who are needed for the fulfillment of the deliverables, in addition to ensuring strong and proactive communication with both primary (need to know) and secondary (nice to know) stakeholders.

· Collaborate with all appropriate internal departments with an eye towards continuous process improvement, helping to define and refine ways to balance flawless execution with stellar service and experience for the donor, while ensuring program and mission delivery in accordance with KINF brand standards.

· Proactively drive communications to all internal stakeholders to keep everyone informed as to updates, follow-ups, deliverables, details and reporting.

· Participate in and/or lead meetings with donors, in conjunction with and as requested by the Development team.

· For ongoing GIK support from donors, whether in the form of ad hoc product offers, or scheduled programs such as Retail Pick-Up, work collaboratively with the Development team and the donor to ensure proactive communications and understanding of product offerings, intent and placement.

· Manage and support GIK acceptance and placement in coordination with and informed by the Mission Impact team, whether to support KINF’s Teacher Resource Center, National Programs or Affiliate Network.

· Help to maintain and support the Network product offer platform, working closely with Mission Impact to ensure clear and consistent communications and process, collaborating on strategies for optimal product placement and helping to identify appropriate resource centers for product, taking into account multiple factors, including but not limited to quantity, demand, freight costs and location, and delivery timing.

· Maintain strong adherence to record-keeping and appropriate processes, ensuring details and proper “checking of the boxes”, whether in Salesforce CRM, Google Suite, or other platforms as needed.

· Ensure strong donor relations and partnership with Development, proactively communicating when donations are received, offered or suggested.

· Maintain a thorough understanding of KINF’s programs, activations, campaigns, internal processes, and operations.

· Complete ad hoc projects as assigned or other duties as needed.

· Attendance at and occasional travel to may be required for events and KINF-related appearances, including occasional nights and weekends.

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other office-related software

Education and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, management or related field or compensating / relevant experience

· 5 years of professional work experience, including high-level customer service or account management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
