We are currently looking for an engaged, fun-loving, caring infant / toddler teacher to become part of our team!
Who we are : Kids Junction is a family owned, state licensed preschool and daycare center on the west side of Madison. Our mission is to build mind, body, and Christian character in partnership with families to bring out the best in each child. Through our partnership with families, we desire to accomplish educational and training goals with their child(ren) through a rich preschool / childcare experience.
We are conveniently located inside the Princeton Club on Madison's west side. Our location gives prime access to bus lines, the belt line, and bike trails. Our beltline access connects most nearby neighborhoods and towns in 10-15 minutes! About the job : The primary responsibilities of our infant teachers are to support the developmental milestones with each child as they learn through their first year. Our priority for each day is creating a unique and stimulating environment of play, music, and language repetition; including the use of stories, blocks, table toys, music and movement. Teachers my provide supervision outside the classroom by utilizing our infant play areas and taking children on walks. Teachers will also assist with feeding and general infant care throughout the day. Pay rate is based on education, experience, and Registry Level.
Preferred Skills and Competencies :
- Have a strong passion and calling to impact children's lives and work to see them grow / develop
- Have the Infant / Toddler, Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher course or be willing to complete necessary coursework
- Have a 2-year degree (preferred) in Early Childhood or a related field
- Have experience working the fields of early childhood or education
- Be age 18 years or older
