What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-School/Pre-K Teacher position at Kids Junction?
Seeking responsible/reliable person for a full time position in a quality childcare center as a Pre-school or Pre-K teacher!
Candidates must:
*Have or be working towards a degree in Early Childhood Education or a similar field.
*Be familiar with and willing to take the training on the RI Early Learning and Development Standards
*Be available Monday - Friday
*Be available between the hours of 7am and 6pm
*Attend meetings and trainings
*Be able to plan developmentally appropriate curriculum helping to keep our BrightStars 4 star rating!
*Be a team player.
Candidate must also:
- Be willing to interact with children and encourage their involvement in activities!
- Help create a warm and safe environment that the children can thrive and grow in!
- Be willing to take part in classroom activities, such as graduation, open houses, holiday shows, etc.
- Be willing to prepare evaluations on the children in your classroom!
- Be willing to talk with parents in a professional manner.
- Be willing to help with classroom duties, such as: bathroom, lunch, nap, playground supervision, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
