School Age Program Director Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Age Program Director to lead our Before and After School sites at various elementary schools in the Lincoln area. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be able to work effectively with children, parents, and staff, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering excellence in program planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging program plans that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 5-12
- Oversee the supervision and care of children during before and after school hours, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being
- Foster positive relationships with parents, school faculty, and community members to promote a supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless program delivery, including administrative tasks and quality control measures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of an Associate's degree or relevant college credits in Education, Child Development, Human Services, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience working with school age children, preferably in a group setting
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- The ability to lift up to 40 pounds and engage in physical activities with children
