Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect among students.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods including tests, assignments, and observations.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities.
- Foster relationships with students to support their emotional and social development.
- Incorporate creative activities to enhance learning experiences.
- Ensure the safety of students by adhering to first aid protocols and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare or early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Certification in First Aid is a plus.
- Experience in working with children ages 5-12 years old.
