Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development in areas such as language, math, science, art, and social skills.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Child Assessment: Conduct ongoing assessments of children's progress and development to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Use observations and assessments to individualize instruction and support each child's unique needs.
- Parent Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with parents and caregivers, providing updates on their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones. Collaborate with families to support children's learning and development at home.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of all children in the classroom by following proper hygiene practices, implementing safety protocols, and supervising children at all times. Administer first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies or accidents.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in early childhood education by participating in professional development opportunities, attending workshops or conferences, and engaging in ongoing learning.

Qualifications
- Must have experience working with Pre-K aged students
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have current CPR & First Aid
- Must love and enjoy working with children
