What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Teacher position at Kids R Kind?
We are looking to add an infant teacher to our classroom, cuddling and enriching babies' little lives while teaching them. Yes ! even Babies learn, our Education Directors and Curriculum Coaches will support you as you learn our teaching methods.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning activities which take into consideration the cultural, social, economic backgrounds, emotional or physical disabilities, and individual style and pace of learning to ensure a holistic and comprehensive delivery of services.
- Maintain a physical environment conducive to promoting optimal growth and development via positive social interaction of infants and toddlers.
- Assist in implementing Child Service Plans for children with diagnosed disabilities.
- Assist in developing and implementing developmentally appropriate instructional programs to encourage parental involvement, to increase knowledge and to support parents as their child’s primary source of affection, care, and learning
Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 18
- Ability to pass FBI / BCI Background Check
- Pre-Employment trainings through the State of Ohio
- Team-Oriented and willingness to be a team player is a must!
- Willingness to learn ODJFS rules and company policies as well as curriculum is a must. We train our teachers via an in-house training protocol to ensure that they are fluent when using the ELDS for Ohio.
Summary
As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for nurturing and educating young children in a safe and engaging environment. Reporting to the Lead Teacher, you will utilize your core skills in early childhood education and infant care to support the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. Your premium skills in first aid and special education will enhance your ability to cater to diverse learning needs. Additionally, your relevant skills in classroom management and caregiving will contribute to creating a positive and structured learning atmosphere.
