Kids’ Zone is a family-owned Christian childcare center with locations in Georgetown, Jarrell, Belton, and Salado. We are looking to add Support Staff to our Belton center.
Job responsibilities:
- Communicate with parents through our parent portal app
- Follow the schedule in classrooms.
- Maintain classroom management and control.
- Assist with lunches.
- Cover the classroom in the absence of the co-teacher.
- Ensure daily care and safety of children by following all childcare licensing guidelines as well as school policies and procedures.
- Provide a positive and nurturing environment for the children.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
- Attend all required staff meetings, school functions, and professional development.
Job Qualifications
- Loving, nurturing, positive, attentive, and child-friendly personality
- Strong attendance habits
- Must be 18 years of age and a high school graduate/GED holder for full-time positions. If applying for part-time, you must be enrolled or previously enrolled in a child development course and be at least 16 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation to work
- Must pass all state-required background checks.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds consistently throughout the workday for diaper changes and reassurance of children
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience in childcare is a plus but not required.
