We are looking for a floating child care staff member to join our team! This person will work a 72 hour bi-weekly schedule (40 hours one week, 32 one week). Candidates will help cover for other staff during their scheduled time off. Candidates are responsible for providing direct supervision at all times in designated classrooms, adhering to center ratios and group sizes. They will be responsible for implementing activity plans, providing free play and outdoor play activities, and following the general schedule of each classroom.

Duties
- Assist in the implementation of activities and encourage participation by children.
- Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, order, and availability of classroom materials.
- Ability to think on their feet, and adjust activities as needed without much preparation
- Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and daily reports
- Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Complete required professional development to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of the importance of attendance in a child care center
- A strong understanding and/or willingness to learn and uphold Ohio Child Care Licensing rules & regulations
- High energy, positive attitude
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to manage small and large groups of children
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Must provide an FBI/BCI background check per ODJFS
- Must provide an Employee Medical Statement per ODJFS (by or on the first day of employment)

- Current First Aid & CPR training
