Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate activity plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Facilitate activities that support children's physical, emotional, and social development.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and daily activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special requirements.
- Assist with daily care routines such as feeding and diapering, adhering to the daily schedule of the center and each individual child's needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or childcare settings is preferred, including roles such as nannying or daycare provider.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to provide infant care and toddler care as needed.
- Certification in first aid and is highly desirable; certification will be provided within the first 90 days of hiring.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- A genuine love for working with young children and a commitment to their growth and development.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.50 - $12.52 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 29 per week
