About the Role:

As an RBT at KidsChoice, youll work directly with children to help them build communication, social, and life skills through evidence-based practices. Your work will have a lasting impact, and you'll be supported by a team that values collaboration, growth, and heart-led service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Prompt and reinforce safe, socially appropriate replacement behaviors
• Help children develop communication, social, and problem-solving skills
• Use sound judgment to carry out intervention strategies and seek guidance when needed
• Provide crisis intervention and back-up support when necessary
• Accurately collect and record data on behavioral targets daily

Don't have your RBT Certification yet? Follow these steps!

This position requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification which starts with completing a quick 40 hour online training! To get started, choose one of the training options below:

• Relias - This is a high quality training and one that we recommend the most. It costs $100.
• Behavior Tech Course - This training is $30 and has options to purchase additional study materials.

KidsChoice will help you along the way but once you finish the 40-hour training these are the next steps:

• Contact KidsChoice HR and send a copy of your RBT certification.
• Get high school transcript.
• Reach out to KidsChoice to schedule competency assessment.
• Apply for the RBT exam with high school transcript, 40-hour training certification, and competency assessment.
• Take the test and wait for license.
• Send license, ID, and social security to KidsChoice for insurance credentialing.
