We are KidsCorp West !
We are an Early Intervention Day Treatment (EIDT) center serving children 6 weeks to 6 years old who have needs in the areas of Occupational, Speech, Physical, Developmental, or ABA Therapies and /orNursing services.
Children come to our center to receive Education and Therapies in one setting. This is covered by most Arkansas Medicaid plans if the child qualifies for Developmental Therapy and at least one other therapy, with Physician approval/prescription.
We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is a team player, will have experience working with children, possess strong communication skills, and be dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment for young students.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of children
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, assisting children with Activities of Daily Living
- Utilize various teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes
- Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation
Skills
- Experience in special education is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Strong background in literacy education and math concepts
- Ability to engage young learners and create a stimulating educational experience
