Job Title: Preschool/Daycare Teacher
Location: KidsPark Main Line, Haverford PA

Responsibilities:Childcare & Program Implementation
Under the direction of the Director, Center Management, or Shift Leads, you will ensure the integrity of our activities while maintaining the highest level of care and customer service. Responsibilities include:
- Actively supervising and engaging with children to ensure their safety and enjoyment.
- Embracing a fast-paced, dynamic childcare environment.
- Ensuring that children use equipment and toys safely and appropriately.
- Redirecting and guiding children towards positive social and developmental behaviors.
- Organizing, leading, and supervising activities that support physical and social development.
- Leading Circle Time and other group activities for single or mixed-age groups.
- Preparing, adapting, and facilitating age-appropriate art and learning activities.
- Completing assigned duties effectively to enhance the overall childcare experience.
Professionalism & Team Support
To maintain a positive and efficient work environment, you will:
- Present a professional image that instills confidence in the care we provide.
- Arrive on time and be prepared for scheduled shifts.
- Employees must adhere to Dress Code standards.
- Arrange for a substitute when needed, on approval by the Director, using the center’s phone list.
- Assist with daily housekeeping and facility maintenance.
- Complete all required tasks efficiently and within given timeframes.
- Contribute ideas to improve procedures and program quality.
- Share relevant experiences and skills to enhance our programs.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.
- Demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, dependability, flexibility, and strong organizational skills.
Requirements:
Candidates must meet both state and company requirements, including passing all necessary background checks.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED and 2 years experience with children. OR
- A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field, OR
- A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate, including 600 or more hours of secondary training, OR
- A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate, 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children, OR
- A high school diploma or a general education development certificate and completion of a post-secondary training curriculum.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Early childhood coursework, CDA certification, or a degree in early childhood education preferred.
Additional Skills & Abilities:
- Work up to 20 hours a week
- Prep time for Preschool may be up to an hour a day
- Strong verbal communication skills with children and adults.
- Good written communication skills.
- Positive and professional interactions with others.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
