Please note, KidsPark staff are required to work at least one weekend shift every other week, including a closing shift until 10:00pm on at least one Friday or Saturday per month. We welcome candidates with weekend availability to apply!
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Childcare Provider to join our team part time. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and providing them with a safe, nurturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising children, planning activities, preparing meals, helping with homework, and providing emotional support. We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Supervise and interact with children in a positive manner.
- Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding the care of their children.
KidsPark offers a unique take on childcare open days, evenings, and Saturdays offering drop-in hourly care, preschool, and private birthday parties. Staff enjoy a collaborative work environment working with children ages 1.5-10 years old. A position at KidsPark is fast-paced, creative, and fulfilling!
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Strong background in early childhood education and toddler care
- Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management techniques
- Certification in First Aid and CPR preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with families and staff
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
