What are the responsibilities and job description for the MOBILE STAFF SUPPORT position at KidsPeace Childrens Hospital?
The Mobile Staff Support position is a Crisis Interventionist who is highly skilled in de-escalating clients exhibiting verbally or physically threatening behaviors or otherwise presenting a threat toward themselves or others. Detailed reports and recordkeeping via computer is required. Primary duties are performed in the school setting, with some time before and after the school day working on the residential treatment units. This position serves as a building floater in the halls, bathrooms, and facility grounds to ensure a safe learning environment. It can be physically demanding at times.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Mental Health / Social Services field preferred.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Experience with acute emotionally challenged children or adolescents required.
- Basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
