What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Technician position at KidsPeace?
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure effective treatment implementation
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and implement behavior intervention plans accurately
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
