In this role, you’ll work directly with the General Manager (GM) to create an amazing environment where coaches, kids, and families thrive. You’ll help drive membership growth, ensure operational excellence, and deliver an unmatched customer experience.
This is not a desk job. This is a hands-on, in-the-trenches leadership role. You will be expected to lead from the front to ensure coaching standards remain high, reinforce team culture, and provide an exceptional experience for kids and families.

- Drive Growth & Business Performance
- Support the General Manager in executing membership sales strategies to drive consistent revenue growth.
- Engage with parents, prospects, and local businesses to increase awareness and attract new members.
- Assist in community outreach, networking, and partnerships with schools, parent groups, and local organizations to generate leads.
- Lead & Develop a Rockstar Team
- Assist in recruiting, training, and coaching a high-energy team of coaches and front desk staff.
- Set clear expectations and ensure staff are engaged and motivated.
- Help maintain a culture of excellence, fun, and high performance.
- Coach 5-10 classes per week to maintain high coaching standards, lead by example, and ensure quality member experiences.
- Deliver an Unmatched Customer Experience
- Build strong relationships with parents and kids to create a loyal community.
- Ensure classes are engaging, high-energy, and provide value for families.
- Handle customer concerns, manage feedback, and enhance the overall experience.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-run facility that meets KidStrong’s high standards.
- Operational Excellence & Execution
- Support day-to-day operations, scheduling, payroll, and efficiency in the center.
- Implement and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve consistency and execution.
- Ensure safety protocols and company policies are always followed.
- Passion for working with children and creating a positive impact.
- Sales and customer service experience—comfortable engaging with people, handling objections, and closing deals.
- Leadership mindset—you set the standard for your team and lead by example.
- Adaptability—you thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments.
- Problem-solving skills—you see challenges as opportunities and take action.
- 1-3 years of experience in fitness, kids’ programs, hospitality, or a service-based business.
- Experience coaching or working with children is a plus.
- Previous experience in a sales-driven role with customer-facing responsibilities.
