The Field Trainer supports KidStrong Centers across the nation in training and encouraging brand standards. This position will work closely with the Training and Operations Teams to train and maintain standards created by KidStrong, Inc.. The Field Trainer is responsible for delivering excellent training, as well as helping Centers learn how to develop a world class leadership and coaching team. As a key member of the training team, this role will play a critical part in helping build future KidStrong franchisee coaching, operations and leadership teams.
Field Trainers are responsible for maintaining company standards for how KidStrong Centers should operate. This position is also responsible for protecting our culture and delivering on operations goals.
Key Accountabilities
Travel & Train KidStrong Centers:
- This role is approximately 50-75% travel for 24 to 36 KidStrong Coach certifications per year, traveling as often as 15-20 days per month
- Assist and or lead in Training and Evaluating Franchise Leadership and Coaching teams
- Travel the USA,Canada and other countries leading KidStrong Coaching Certifications and grand openings of KidStrong centers
- Work with the KidStrong HQ Team and Area Developers on franchisee training and coaching protocols
- Continuously evaluates and improves the training experience
Transfer Knowledge and Live KidStrong Culture:
- This role has a deep understanding and experience in coaching athletics, kids and/or adult fitness, teaching and/or fitness training including operations experience in an athletic facility
- Ensure continuous improvement and innovation, demonstrating the ability to maintain high standards in line with the company’s core values and beliefs
- Focus on creating an amazing experience across all locations in the region
Participate in Content Development & Serve as Center Operations SME:
- Help develop and create specific coach training tools and coaching guidelines, as well as help coach and guide day-day operations- memberships, customer relations and customer service, and instruction on operational systems
- Work closely with the KidStrong Programming and Curriculum and Franchise Operations team in order to provide the most effective and up to date training, programming and curriculum
- Complete assigned projects in a timely manner
- Enforce all safety procedures and required certifications
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in coaching, training, operations, or relevant industry
- A passion for coaching/training, fitness, teaching, and customer relations
- Experience at presenting to large audiences
- Are or willing to be CPR and First Aid Certified
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Ability to travel the USA and Canada on a consistent basis
- At least 1 year of experience in franchise training / auditing is preferred
- Strong trainer/coach
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
