Position Overview
The Sales Associate is responsible for generating, developing, managing, and converting net new sales opportunities into paying members. This role combines outbound sales efforts, relationship-building, and consultative selling to ensure families find the right KidStrong experience for their child.
This role requires a mix of proactive outreach and structured lead management—engaging potential customers via phone, email, text, and in-person interactions to drive trial attendance and membership conversion.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Conversion & Sales Execution:
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls, texts, and emails to inbound leads.
- Schedule and follow up on trial classes to maximize attendance and conversion.
- Engage in in-person sales with walk-ins and trial attendees.
- Consult with parents to understand their child’s needs and position KidStrong’s value.
- Business Development & Community Engagement:
- Develop net new business opportunities through community partnerships (schools, children’s centers, retail, etc.).
- Represent KidStrong at local events, pop-ups, and networking opportunities.
- Pipeline & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate lead records in HubSpot CRM.
- Process sales transactions in ZenPlanner and communicate through Podium.
- Follow structured lead nurturing workflows while optimizing for effectiveness.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work alongside the coaching team to ensure trial experiences are seamless.
- Provide regular sales reports and performance updates to ownership.
- Trial Interest to Attendance Rate
- Trial Conversion Rate (Trial → Membership)
- Activity Volume (Calls, Emails, Texts, Follow-ups)
- Net New Lead Stream Development (Community outreach, partnerships, etc.)
- A high-energy, resilient sales professional with a passion for helping kids succeed.
- Comfortable with outbound sales—you're proactive, not reactive.
- Consultative in approach—you listen to parents and provide the best solutions.
- Tech-savvy and organized, capable of managing a CRM and multiple communication platforms.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, thriving in an environment where performance leads to greater autonomy.
- A team player who collaborates with coaches and leadership to create an exceptional experience.
- While there is flexibility, consistent follow-up with leads is required, which may include evenings & weekends.
- Autonomy increases as performance goals are met.
- 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in outbound or consultative sales.
- Experience in fitness, children’s programs, or education-based sales is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), sales tracking, and pipeline management.
