Pediatric LVN or RN

Job description

Kidsville Pediatrics is looking to add a pediatric RN or LVN to our growing team. We are searching for a motivated individual who enjoys working with children on a full-time basis.

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to work 8 hour shifts and rotate weekends as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have current BLS certification
• Must have 6 months of experience (Pediatric Experience Preferred)
• Bilingual(Spanish) Preferred
• EPIC EMR
• Ability to work front desk and back office.
• Current and valid RN/LVN license if applicable without restrictions.

Responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of providers and clinic manager , the nurse will support clinic staff and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.

• Work with your team members to provide excellent medical care to our patients
• Comfort patients
• Triage children and gather relevant medical history
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed
• Perform point of care testing as directed
• Complete all activities timely & accurately
• Assist providers during exam and procedures
• Document visit in EHR quickly and accurately
• Organize, stock and clean exam and treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Answer phones, scheduling and other front desk duties as needed

The pace is fast and you need to be comfortable with Pediatrics and time management. You may be required to work with multiple providers, so being flexible and able to adjust to change quickly is essential.
