Infant Assistant Teacher

Our center is hiring for an Infant Assistant Teacher

As a Kidtown Assistant Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Create a safe, fun, nurturing environment where kiddos can learn and play
• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their kiddos
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, and community contacts
• Support the development of kiddos and care for them
• Attend required staff meetings, workshops, training and center events
• Follow the ODJFS Childcare Center Rules
• Uphold and exemplify The KCC Way

For Assistant Teachers:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some ECE training in OCCRRA and at least 1 year experience working with children

Additional Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Must be physically able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in play activities with children
• Lifting up to 35 lbs. and bending
• Some knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
• All center staff applicants must meet state specific guidelines for the role including background checks
• Full - Time Schedule
• Must have own reliable transportation
