Our center is hiring for a School Age Summer Camp Teacher

As a Kidtown Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Partner with the administration to plan exciting activities through the summer for our school age kiddos to play and learn.
- Attend field trips to places such as the Science Center, Zoo, and other places with the kiddos.
- Provide a great, positive experience not only for the kiddos but also their families while maintaining open and effective communication with parents/guardians.
- Assist with other tasks as needed in the classrooms and throughout the center.
- Attends required staff meetings, workshops, training and center events.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years experience working in childcare or with children
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- CDA or School Age Endorsement preferred
- Must be physically able to see and hear well enough to keep kiddos safe and engage in play activities with the kiddos
- Some knowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of children
- All center staff applicants must meet state specific guidelines for the role including background checks
