What are the responsibilities and job description for the Journeyman Electrician - Northeast Nebraska position at Kidwell, Inc?

Current State of Nebraska Journeyman license is required. All organizations deserve a first-rate experience when partnering with Kidwell, and the Journeyman Electricians will directly represent Kidwell on job sites and in front of customers.

What You’ll Do:
- Strategically plan and delegate tasks to apprentices and journeyman on the job site
- Train and develop staff on jobs to create competent and capable teams
- Partner with Kidwell Project Management team to coordinate change orders, purchasing, RFI’s, and other tasks to help support a successful job
- Coordinate with the Field Personnel Director to predict future staffing needs
- Work from drawings and blueprints supplied to make efficient use of materials and labor, in order to provide high-quality installation and services
- Manage and coordinate changes to job scope, always aiming to keep jobs within the estimated budget and timeline
- Effectively prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects and jobs
- Work effectively with the general contractor and other contractors on-site to maintain project timelines
- Install and repair electrical systems and equipment within the scope of the job
- Create and maintain a safe work environment, meeting or exceeding OSHA regulations
Do You Have What It Takes?
- Previous experience managing small to medium job sites and a Journeyman’s license are required
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills are required
- Must be passionate about developing an outstanding team and creating an environment that allows for growth opportunities
- Minimum of 6 years of field experience is preferred
- Applicants looking to grow and advance their career in the electrical trade will be strong candidates
- All candidates must be able to pass a physical exam, criminal background check, drug screening and must maintain a valid Driver’s license
