Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant/Toddler Teacher and Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents on their progress.
- Foster strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support the overall well-being of each child.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that encourages learning and creativity.
- Stay current with early childhood education trends and best practices through professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Willing to obtain a CDA or EDU 119.
- Experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is required.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early learning standards.
- Skills in behavior management, classroom management, and effective communication with young children.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
- Previous experience as a nanny or babysitter can be advantageous.
- A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young minds is essential.
