Now Hiring: Daycare Center Director
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Center Director to lead our daycare center. The Director will be responsible for the safety, education, and well-being of the children, as well as overseeing daily operations, staff, curriculum, and compliance with state and local regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment.
- Develop and oversee educational programs and lesson planning.
- Maintain compliance with state and local childcare regulations.
- Manage staff, including hiring, training, and supervision.
- Handle administrative tasks such as payroll, billing, and budgeting.
- Communicate with parents through meetings, newsletters, and updates.
- Oversee food purchasing and approve menus.
- Maintain strong relationships with licensing agencies and ensure legal compliance.
- Step in to help with cleaning, cooking, and covering shifts when needed.
- Implement emergency procedures and ensure staff training.
- Organize community outreach and maintain a positive reputation for the center.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 4 years in early childhood education and 3 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Ability to adapt and work well with staff, parents, and children.
- Infant/Child CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must pass a full background check and health screening.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (children, food, and supplies).
- Willingness to assist with meal planning, cleaning, and stepping in when short-staffed.
Ideal Candidates May Have Experience As:
Daycare Director, Preschool Director, Childcare Director, Early Childhood Education Director, or Daycare Teacher.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
