About the Position:
We are hiring both full-time and part-time Summer Assistants to support our lead teachers in the classroom. Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with daily activities, such as arts & crafts, music, and outdoor play.
- Supervising children and ensuring their safety.
- Helping to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Participating in field trips and special events.
- Interacting with children in a positive and encouraging manner.
- Supporting the lead teacher with classroom management and lesson implementation.
Qualifications:
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Experience working with children (preferred but not required).
- CPR and First Aid certification (a plus, but training can be provided).
