Overview

Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety.
- Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs as required.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals regarding client needs.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition.
Skills
- Experience in PICU or outpatient settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of inpatient care practices within a teaching hospital environment.
- Familiarity with hospital medicine protocols and emergency medicine procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Compassionate approach to caregiving with a focus on client dignity and respect.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods based on individual client needs.
